What is a Supermom?

I hear this word Supermom thrown about a bit and have often wondered what is the definition of a Supermom, so I went in search of the answer.

This is what the online dictionary defines as a SUPERMOM?
Noun 1. supermom – an informal term for a mother who can combine childcare and full-time employment female parent, mother – a woman who has given birth to a child (also used as a term of address to your mother); “the mother of three children”
Definition of SUPERMOM – an exemplary mother; also : a woman who performs the traditional duties of housekeeping and child-rearing while also having a full-time job.

Ok that sounds fair, but what about those mothers that stay at home. Surely their efforts in parenting deserve some recognition. Just because they don’t have a full time job should that make them any less worthy of the title of Supermom?

Here is a list of job titles I came up with. I am sure there are many more I haven’t thought of.

Now this list applies to all Mothers, so in Theory would that not make all Mothers Supermoms. Also we cant forget the stay home Fathers don’t they deserve some recognition too?  I feel all mothers and fathers are Supermom’s and Superdad’s. Parenting is the hardest Job there is, yet the most underpaid, especially when you think that today they are raising the leaders of our world tomorrow.
